EXTRACTORS!! The manual extractor will be available along with the motorized one for club members to rent. We've got a third extractor which will be available shortly, generously donated by one of our PPBA members. The fee is $15.00 for 3 days for the motorized extractor and $10.00 for 3 days for the manual. (Three days gives you time to pick up the extractor, use it and clean it, and return it.) Contact Dawn Shelstad to schedule the use of an extractor. Remember, it will be clean with you pick it up and it needs to be cleaned prior to return or it will not be accepted. (Hot water and soap at the coin operated car wash seems to be the quickest and easiest method for cleaning.)

Note: To rent an extractor, you must be a current member of PPBA. Also, you must have a vehicle so you can tranport the extractor standing up (and strapped in) or secured as to prevent any rolling or damage.

FOR SALE: Don Donaldson has the following for sale: 2 frame tangenital extractor, new in box. It's a Deluxe Compact Extractor from Betterbee that sells for $360 plus shipping of approximately $70. It has a built in strainer, and has a 100# bottling tank that clips to the bottom of the extractor. Don will sell it for $325. HONEY WANTED: Bev Rampey would like at least 3 gallons of honey. Doesn't matter what area it's from. Please contact Bev directly.
